Today I made a clear plastic cover for one of the galvanized fence tents I made to use as a trellis. Turns out that the 10 foot wide plastic covers the tent perfectly with only a single 90 degree cut. I am using grommets to wire tie the cover to the frame.
Sorry, I forgot to take any pictures, but I will add a drawing later.

23 Days - Plant Progress
Transplanted the rest of the tomatoes that were in peat pellets into 1 gallon jugs (it later turns out that 2 quart jugs are about the right size). This was the first night I left the plants outside overnight. They were a little wilted in the morning but recovered quickly when the sun came out. Overnight low was 45 -- a little colder than I had anticipated.

21 Days - Seedling Progress
Transplanted all 12 Ambrosia cantaloupe, 6 Better boys, and 6 of each type of watermelon into pint containers. First California Wonder bell pepper has finally sprouted. Glad I didn't toss them.

9 Days - First Seedlings Emerge
The weather is starting to warm up, so I am moving my seedlings (well, seeds) outside during the day. I need to have a small heater in the kneewall next year to warm the seeds up.
